The Mountain Saddle Band seeks to preserve our cowboy heritage and a life in the "cowboy way" today as in the past. Stephen Harrington, the leader and founder of Mountain Saddle Band, sings lead vocals and plays rhythm guitar and has written a number of the songs that the Mountain Saddle Band performs. Steve Taylor sings lead vocals and back up, and plays harmonica. His harmonica adds haunting leads and backgrounds that help flavor all of the music, and his poems add a visual touch to the performances. Rusty Weiss plays bass guitar in a way that fills out the band's sound and keeps you swaying in the saddle, as well as adding some rich vocal background to the music.
